As I was riding on some beautiful trails, I decided shoot a video on making a wild salad with wild edible plants and greens. So I spend only about 20 mins looking for wild greens you can eat to make the most tasty and delicious wild salad.
As I explain in the video, there are many edible plants, weeds, greens and vegetables in the wild or in your backyard that you can harvest to replace your store bought vegetables. Some of which I picked in this video include: edible wild dandelion, edible wild carrot, edible wild red clover, edible wild plantain weed.
The benefits of eating wild vegetables are numerous. First of all they have much higher nutritional value than you typical store bought vegetables that are grown with conventional farm (or even organic practices), wild greens contain a more diverse array of phytonutrients and minerals, they free you do not have to pay for free food picked in the wild and they are fun to pick.
